Terms and Conditions for the purchase of Web 3.0 Summit Tickets

1. Scope of these T&Cs

   1. These Terms and Conditions (“Ts&Cs”) apply to the purchase of tickets for and attendance at the Web 3.0 Summit at Funkhaus, Berlin on 18-19 June 2026 (the “Event”), organized by the Web 3.0 Technologies Foundation, Gotthardstrasse 3, 6300 Zug, Switzerland with commercial register number CHE-322.596.347 (“W3F” / “we”).

   2. The purchase of a ticket constitutes the conclusion of a contract giving you (“you” / the “customer”) the right to attend the Event.

2. Registration and Conclusion of Contract

   1. Tickets for the Event may be purchased via the Tick3t App web page at tickets.web3summit.com using crypto (the “Tick3t App”). Tickets may also be purchased using fiat through Pretix at: https://pretix.eu/w3f/Web3Summit26/ (“Pretix”). We specify below where terms apply only in relation to Pretix or to the Tick3t App.

   2. By providing the information on the Event, we make an offer to enter into a contract for the purchase of a ticket. You accept this offer by completing the ordering process and clicking the “Buy Ticket” (Tick3t App) or “Place binding order” (Pretix) button on the final checkout page. Your acceptance of the offer is effective only if you have filled in all required fields (name, email address and payment details for Pretix and name for Tick3t App) on the checkout page and accepted these Ts&Cs. Given the nature of the Event, there is no statutory right for you to withdraw (Widerruf) from your ticket purchase after it is concluded.

3. Prices

   1. The price displayed on the final checkout page is the final price for the respective ticket.

   2. In the Tick3t App, tickets will be priced in DOT. You may choose to make payment in certain other stablecoins or cryptocurrencies at the exchange rate specified during the check-out process. Payment in BTC is possible with additional steps, via a third party link and subject to separate disclaimers.

   3. All prices include applicable sales tax where required.

      1. For Pretix purchases, the ticket price includes transaction fees.

      2. For Tick3t App purchases, transaction fees will be added in addition to the ticket price (see below, Section 4).

   4. In case we offer special discounted rates (e.g. for students), these are listed separately on Pretix only. The discount will be subject to presentation of appropriate proof (e.g. student ID, university confirmation). Such proof must be provided on-site at check-in. If it cannot be provided, you must buy a new, full price ticket to attend the Event.

   5. W3F reserves the right to change the ticket price at any time.

4. Payment and Third Party Links

   1. Payment is made via the methods specified in the Tick3t App or in Pretix. Including as specified in this Section 4, third party links may be provided within the Tick3t App and to third party payment services providers within Pretix. Each third-party provider is solely responsible for its services and linked content, in accordance with its own terms and conditions. W3F disclaims all responsibility and liability in connection with such third party links as it is not in control of or responsible for applicable content or services.

   2. For payments in cryptocurrency via the Tick3t App:

      1. You are required to connect your compatible crypto wallet to the Tick3t App. Once you have connected your wallet, you can choose which cryptocurrency accepted by W3F to use for payment.

      2. If you do not have sufficient funds in your wallet, you may top up your balance through third-party providers. We provide links to certain third party providers in the Tick3t App.

      3. You acknowledge that cryptocurrency payments utilize third-party wallets and blockchain technology, which W3F does not control. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your private keys and wallet. We will never ask for your private keys.

   3. W3F shall not be liable for any loss of funds, tickets, or access resulting from your failure to secure your wallet or private keys, or due to cybersecurity risks, system malfunctions, or third-party service failures inherent to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency transactions. The payment functionality is provided on an “as-is” basis, and W3F makes no warranties regarding the continuous availability or security of the third-party crypto or fiat payment services.

5. Issuance of Tickets

   1. During the checkout process, you must enter details into the first and last name fields, plus your email address for Pretix purchases. Following successful payment:

      1. In case of Tick3t App purchases, we will issue a non-fungible token (NFT) within the Tick3t App. We will also provide you with the ticket QR code associated with your NFT and required information which you must download to complete the checkout process. By this process, W3F documents the receipt of the ticket order as well as the conclusion of the contract, including its essential content and terms. You may also log into the Tick3t App with the same account used to purchase the ticket and download your ticket QR code and receipt again at any time.

      2. In case of Pretix purchases, you will receive an email attaching your ticket QR code and confirming your purchase.

6. Resale and Transfer of Tickets

   1. Tickets are sold exclusively for personal, non-commercial use. A ticket may be used by an individual other than the purchaser subject to their agreement to these Ts&Cs, but commercial resale of tickets is not permitted and the Tick3t App NFT itself is non-transferrable. A violation of these rules may lead to the loss of admission to the Event without compensation. The affected tickets will become invalid.

7. Cancellation of an Event and Ticket Refunds

   1. We will not give refunds, except as specified in this Section 7 or as required otherwise by law. Purchase of the ticket is at your own risk and no-shows will not be entitled to refunds.

   2. We may cancel the Event with reasonable notice due to compelling reasons or any event constituting force majeure, including but not limited to fire, flooding or extreme weather. This also applies to component parts, supporting and evening programs within the Event.

   3. In case of a cancellation under the preceding Section 7.1, we may set a replacement date. In such case, tickets already purchased remain valid. You will be notified of the rescheduling via https://web3summit.com/. Your statutory right to withdraw (Rücktritt) from the contract remains unaffected.

   4. In the event of a cancellation due to our fault and without a replacement event, we will refund the full payment made within 21 days. Any additional costs you may incur will not be reimbursed.

8. Third Party Partners

   1. Other organizations not related to W3F may organize their own events within or alongside the Event. Such third party events may have their own terms and conditions and registration processes.

   2. We hereby disclaim all responsibility and liability for any and all such third party partners, their actions, inactions and events as we do not have control over their organization or content. For your part, you hereby agree to this allocation of liability and responsibility.

9. Videos/Photographs during the Event

   1. Unless agreed otherwise, participants in the event irrevocably and without compensation agree that W3F is entitled to create, reproduce, broadcast, or have broadcast, and use in audiovisual media, any visual and/or audio recordings of the event. If you do not want to be videoed or photographed, please alert applicable staff at the Event.

10. Rules for the Event

W3F and you agree to the following rules for participation in the Event:

1. You will need to provide your ticket QR code to be scanned for entry to the Event. We are otherwise unable to verify whether you have purchased a ticket.

   2. Valid ID, security screening and bag checks may be required for entry, subject to local law and venue rules. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, events may only be attended by individuals over the age of 18.

   3. W3F reserves the right to make changes to the program and lineup that are reasonable, taking into account your and our interests. Such changes: i) are considered acceptable if the overall character and scope of the event remain essentially similar; and ii) shall not entitle you to a refund.

   4. Dangerous items such as gas canisters, pyrotechnic devices, torches or weapons of any kind may not be brought to the Event. The same applies to disruptive devices such as laser pointers and similar equipment.

   5. The possession and consumption of prohibited substances, particularly drugs, at the Event is prohibited.

   6. The rules and regulations of the Event venue, which will be posted on-site, apply additionally.

   7. Violent, abusive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

   8. In the event of violations of this Section 10, W3F reserves the right to refuse admission and to expel the participant from the Event or to issue a general ban from the premises.

2. Limitation of Liability

   1. W3F is liable without limitation for intentional acts and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health caused by an intentional or negligent breach of duty. W3F is liable for damage to property and financial loss in cases of simple negligence where an essential contractual obligation (wesentliche Vertragspflicht) has been breached. An essential contractual obligation (wesentliche Vertragspflicht) is an obligation whose fulfillment is essential for the performance of the contract and on whose fulfillment the customer may therefore normally rely. In this case, liability is limited to the amount of damage foreseeable at the time of conclusion of the contract and typical for the contract. Otherwise, W3F’s liability is excluded.

   2. The limitations of liability apply accordingly in favor of W3F’s legal representatives, employees, and vicarious agents.

   3. The limitations and exclusions of liability pursuant to this Section 11 do not affect W3F's liability under the mandatory provisions of the Product Liability Act, due to fraudulent concealment of a defect, or due to the assumption of a guarantee regarding the quality of an item.

3. Miscellaneous

   1. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. If you enter into the contract for purposes other than professional or commercial ones, this choice of law shall apply only to the extent that it does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory law in your country of habitual residence. The provisions of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.

   2. If the customer is a commercial enterprise, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Berlin. However, we are also entitled to bring proceedings at your place of residence or business. Jurisdiction based on an exclusive statutory requirement remains unaffected by this.

   3. W3F will endeavor to resolve any contractual disputes amicably. However, we are under no obligation to participate in consumer arbitration proceedings (under the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act, VSBG) and we do not offer customers the opportunity to participate in such proceedings.

   4. Should individual provisions of these Ts&Cs be invalid, the validity of the contract or the remaining provisions of the Ts&Cs shall remain unaffected
